2009 Parade Information
Saturday, April 18th Bellbrook Sugar Maple Festival, 11:30am Requested 6 cars to haul the sweethearts and grand marshals.
Monday, May 25th Troy Memorial Day, Line up 8:30am at the American Legion Parking Lot, 622 South Market Street. Parade starts 9:15am
Saturday ,June 6th Troy Strawberry Parade, Must obtain a pass from Nadine prior to parade to participate. Line for this year there will be three staging areas of four cars each. Section C, Units 15 & 32. Section D, Unit 19. They have asked us not to use County Rd 25A. Also, Peters Rd. between Swailes and Archer Dr. is closed. Use I-75, Exit at the Rt. 55 exit. Turn right, go two traffic lights and turn left at the second one (Ridge Ave). Passes and maps will be handed out at the May 18 meeting.
Saturday, June 13th Versailles Poultry Days Parade, Line up at 9:45am, parade starts at 11:00am.
Saturday, July 4th Troy 4th of July, Line up 8:00am, Hobart Arena parking lot on Adams Street. Parade Starts 9:00am
Friday, July 17th Vandalia Air Show, Line up info TBA later.
Saturday, July25th Greenville Annie Oakley Parade, Line up info TBA later.
Saturday, August 8th Englewood Festival Parade Line up info TBA later.
Saturday, August 15th Lewisbury Derby Days Parade Starts at 11:00 a.m. Line up will be on N. Main St. Must be lined up by 10:30 a.m. This year 1st and 2nd place awards will be given for antique cars and most unique entry. If you wish to participate in judging that line up begins at 9:30 a.m.
Saturday, August 22nd Bellbrook Lions Club Parade Starts at 4:00 p.m. Line up begins 3:00 p.m. in the Vemco Drive area.
Friday, September 18th, Covington HS Homecoming. Line up 5:30pm, parade starts 6:30pm. Going North on St. Rt. 48, then go past St. Rt. 41, go to the second stop light and turn right onto Wright St., this takes you to the parking lot of the middle school. They will direct us to our line up location from there. After parade dinner at Buffalo Jacks in Covington for anyone who might be hungry.
Thursday, Sept 24, West Carrollton HS Homecoming parade, line up 5:30pm in the lot of Shade school, next to middle school. Off of I-75, third light turn right, stop sign turn right again then past middle school on the other side and into parking lot.
Saturday, September 26th Tipp City Mum Festival. Line up 9:15, parade starts 10:00am. Line up off of Hyatt St., by Heath Center (at traffic light), towards rail road tracks. Front parking lot of Precision Strip, @315 Park Ave.
Thursday, October 1, Beavercreek HS Homecoming parade. Line up 5:00-5:30, parade starts 6:00pm. Location in parking lot of next to elementary school off Dayton-Xenia Rd. (Same as last year)
Thursday, October 1, Waynesville HS Homecoming parade, line up start 6:30pm, parade 7:30pm Line up in parking lot of Subway. Turn off Rt. 73 on to Main St., Subway is on the corner.
Saturday, October 3rd, Cedarville College Homecoming parade, line up after 9:00, at the Churches, parade starts 10:00am (later start time than last year)
Friday, October 9th, Stebbins HS Homecoming. Line up time & location TBA later
Friday, October 16th, Vandalia Butler HS Homecoming. Line up time & location TBA later.
